lyrics

It makes me sick…the way we lie to ourselves. The pressure to be like everyone
when they’re not that interesting and really not that fun. It’s gone too far. I think I might be trying too hard to impress you, something that I would like to do without the need to pander to you. I shouldn’t have to Any attempt is just self-serving. All that the desire brings is a lot more pandering. I hate it. The idea of changing into something that I’ve never been.
I want to be somewhere I belong. Somewhere that I fit in. Comfortable in my own skin.
I swear I must be delusional if I think that I’ll get my way. This is me. Take it or leave it because I’m not gonna change.
